Commitment to Accessibility

DC Spark Consulting is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.   

 

We believe that everyone deserves to live with dignity, equality, comfort, and independence, and we strive to ensure that our website, https://www.dcsparkconsulting.com, is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability.

Conformace Status

he Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and in doing so adhere to many of the available standards and guidelines. We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 level AA [or WCAG 2.2 Level AA] as closely as possible.

Measures Taken to Support Accessibility

We have adapted this site in accordance with WCAG [2.0 / 2.1 / 2.2 - select relevant option] guidelines, and have made the site accessible to the level of [A / AA / AAA - select relevant option]. This site's contents have been adapted to work with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard use. As part of this effort, we have also [remove irrelevant information]:

The accessibility of certain pages on the site depend on contents that do not belong to the organization, and instead belong to [enter relevant third-party name]. Accessibility arrangements in the organization

We are committed to providing an accessible and welcoming environment for all employees, clients, and visitors. Our office includes the following accessibility features:

Parking & Arrival:

  • Accessible Parking: Designated accessible parking spaces are available in front of the main building entrance

  • Exterior Route: An accessible, obstruction-free path of travel is provided from the accessible parking/passenger drop-off area(s) to the main building entrance.

  • Main Entrance: The primary entrance is accessible via a zero-step ramp

Navigation Inside the Building:

  • Reception Area: The reception desk has a  section for wheelchair users, clear floor space

  • Pathways & Corridors: Hallways and primary paths of travel are wide, kept clear of obstructions, and provide adequate maneuvering space.

  • Doors: Interior doors feature lever-style handles and meet width requirements for accessibility.

  • Signage: Key navigational and room signage includes large print, high contrast,

Restrooms:

  • Accessible Restrooms: Designated, accessible single-stall  are available.

  • Features: These restrooms include adequate turning space, accessible sinks, and accessible soap/towel dispenser

Workspaces & Meeting Rooms:

  • Meeting Rooms: Designated meeting rooms are wheelchair accessible with sufficient maneuvering space and accessible table heights.

  • Workstations: [Work areas provide clear floor space

Common Areas:

  • Kitchen/Break Room: The kitchen/break room features accessible counter heights, clear floor space, and reachable appliances

Sensory Considerations:

  • Lighting: The office generally features non-glare lighting

  • Alarms: Emergency fire alarms include both audible and visual signals

Policies & Assistance:

  • Service Animals: Trained service animals are welcome in our office space.
